Minecraft, second Monitor issues?

I’ve been having this really strange issue recently, and I can’t seem to find a fix.

As the title says, on launch, Minecraft would trigger my secondary monitor to black out and periodically flicker. The game seems to also not use the GPU at all while in this state, and Minecraft would stutter, making it virtually unplayable. I’ve tried reinstalling and rolling back my graphics drivers to no avail.

The strangest thing is, this issue only seems to occur after playing GTA 5. No other games trigger this to happen, and the problem would go away after a restart, although this can be finicky as well.

Any help would be highly appreciated, thank you.

Redstone problems

I’m currently building my new project, a MC puzzle map and I have a section in it where I have four tunnels for four players to flip levers up and down. The levers open one set of pistons and close another set of pistons in a different tunnels.

The whole goal of the puzzle is to flip the levers where one person can progress to next level to flip levers so the next person can and so on. Now the problem is that the wiring seems like it’s impossible make. Is there any other way I can actually do this or should I just abandon project?

Is Beaconater achievement bugged??? Again?

I finally created a fully powered beacon in my survival world on my minecraft server, but I am not getting the Beaconater achievement. I am playing on Xbox One, Minecraft Bedrock edition without any cheats or any creative mode interference etc.

I’ve activated and paid for specific effect, I tried multiple effects but it didn’t help, I just wasted my items.

I didn’t use cheats in the past, nor was I using creative mode.

I guess the last thing would be to try to move it above the ground, after that I’m out of ideas.

Minecraft, what is LAN what is WAN?

If you want to play with others on the same local network (LAN), google how to find your local IP for your operating system.

If you want to play with people NOT in your network, you have to either

  • play over a virtual private network using e.g. Hamachi (that CAN be a bit of a hassle, though, as those programs usually need to be installed for all players and sometimes malfunction, too)
  • or you need to forward the ports Minecraft uses in your router (which can also be a bit of a hassle due to various firewalls). There’s lots of info on that in the Google as well.

The IP for people not in your local network is different from your local IP,

  • for Hamachi it’s a dedicated Hamachi IP that would be displayed in the program
  • in case you port-forward, you have to google your global IP, there are websites that display it to you.

Note that you shouldn’t give your global IP to people you don’t trust, i.e. don’t post it somewhere public.

Villager won’t take profession?

So basically i got one villager in my base. I brought him from a breeder. I give him a lectern and a bed, even a door, but he’s not picking the profession. I tried giving him a different profession, but he still doesn’t take the profession. What do I do?

Is it a normal villager or a nitwit?

Wait, are there nitwits after 1.11? I mean he came from the breeder just like all of the others. When i right click him nothing happens. He doesn’t do the nod.

I don’t know but they can bred. Make a new house and hope for the best.

My first time playing Minecraft

So a long time ago around when i was maybe 12 (I’m 18 now) I played the Xbox 360 Minecraft demo. I had watched a few Minecraft videos that involved creepers and diamonds. So my first ever night i got next to that big house next to the waters edge and dug a pit. Then I put a sign next to the hole that read. “Free diamonds” and skittered off into that big house and crouched behind a window. I sat there for the entire night with a frown thinking. “God dang-it it didn’t work.” To which I tried it again few times with the same disappointment.

On a side note when i saw the count down timer till the demo ended which was an hour I think, I thought a nuke was about to go off (don’t ask me why because I don’t know) and dug a big ass hole with my heart pounding. To which it was met with relief when the game closed.

Unfortunate incident

So I was exploring the ocean with a boat. Because the boat’s speed the chunk ahead didn’t load in time which caused me to fell out of the world and to lose all the items. Beware when exploring with high speed and a poor PC cause you can end up like me.

Solution: On my old PC traveled diagonally most of the time, to give chunks time to load. Took longer but much safer.

XBOX Realms problem

Hey, so I’ve been trying to create a Minecraft Realm on my Xbox Live account; 10 player Realm 30 day free trial. But every time I press ‘Create’ I get a box pop up saying “Sorry, we were unable to complete your realm purchase. Maybe check your connection?” My internet is fine with 102.2Mbps download and 16.8Mbps upload, I closed and re-opened the game with no luck, any suggestions? I have a switch and was thinking of trying it from there but wasn’t sure if that would mess with the host systems since I’d be playing mostly from my Xbox, I’m not sure how it works.

Minecraft 1.15 the autistic update

1 in 64 chance of spawning with autism.

If spawned autistic …

  • your character will rock back and forth consistently.
  • trade with villagers will be slightly more expensive (as you cant relate to them).
  • Near a sea lantern or glow stone you receive a weakness and nausea effects, as bright lights make you anxious. receive the same effects if you hear a creeper hissing, a ghast screaming, or any form of explosion.
  • when in 3rd person you’ll see your character performing tics, such as flapping arms, repeatedly smacking skull, screaming
  • when you go to sleep in a normal bed, you’ll wake up with a new effect called restless. (which is negative, and will remain in effect unless comforted with an object such as fidget spinners, rubik’s cubes, and fidget cubes…etc)

Putting a bed in a crafting table with an iron bar will give you a weighted bed, a bed with a weighted blanket, and the restless effect will not apply.
